Have your say, help protect wild animals

The City of Sydney is currently taking public feedback on a policy which will ban the sale of animal fur and exotic skins in markets on council land. This is great progress, but we need your help to ensure this policy protects all wild animals, birds exploited for their feathers included.

"I'm writing to support this new policy. It's great the City is showing leadership in addressing the cruel exploitation and killing of wild animals for fashion. I would also love to see the policy expanded to include feathers from wild animals such as peacocks and ostriches, given the extreme cruelty involved in farming and otherwise producing these feathers for fashion.”
